Finished projects and such...

I’m so proud of myself since I just finished my first custom mandala design on a pair of jean shorts.

I was really inspired by some artists whom I've seen on reels painting jeans with bleach. I had this black pair of shorts that I had purchased which didn’t quite fit right, so I thought I would test it out.

I drew the mandala on the seam after coming up with a design I liked then I hand painted the bleach design, so that I could then draw in my colors. As I was painting with bleach I decided other spots needs some color and some spots got a little tinkle or bleach, so I ran with it and made it part of my design.

As I was watching tv one night I decided that these needed some extra “bling”, so I created some beaded pocket jewelry for the opposite side of the shorts. It came out cuter than I thought.

They’re very retro 90's and I totally love that about them!!! They’d be amazing headed to that neon party New Kids on the Block show over the next couple of months. They’re a size 18 and will be up on the site for sale later today. Right after I figure out how to change the date on my first blog post here from 2019. How that even happened….I don't know?!?! I didn’t even think of having a business or website or blog back then. Danged technology!!
